Bad hire, bad coach, constant bad coaching decisions. Rams should have been the "it" team the last 5-7 yrs of football but have suffered because of this coach, including a blown superbowl.

If nothing else, for my own entertainment. I am excited about watching the Lions for the first time since Barry left.

Maybe Thanksgiving will have 2 good games this year.

I think its a great hire. I think he is a good offensive coach, just makes some bone headed "head coaching" decisions. Not having to make those decisions(mistakes), should make his job much easier.

Can HE stay healthy, remember he was on the IR for the end of the season.

Jp- good call, I think if the head coach puts some parameters on his play calls, then he will be more successful. Remember the Rams with Vermiel?

I think it's a great hire. If I were the Lions, I'd have him scheme all week finding holes in the defense to get those WR's open, then on game day not let him make any decisions. Martz is still a great offensive mind, just a terrible manager of the game on Sunday. Take that aspect away and I do like this fit.

As a Lier Long LIONS fan, this has to be better than what we have had the last few years. Matt Milien has really been a disapointment, thought he would really bring a change, not destruction.
