26 points with 3 minutes to go??
A group of mildly retarded orangatangs with MS confined to wheelcairs which one wheel spins faster than the other, kinda like the shopping cart you get at the local SHaws that you spend the entire trip trying to negotiate away from running into the bags of Nachos on the shelves, on 3 tabs of peyote and a 10 dollar Laotian hooker giving them a blumpkin could score more points than that

My book didn't have a line on that squad tonight.

Glad I took UCLA. No clue why I bet the over.

dick bennet should be a high school coach from the 70's

he's done nothing at wazzu since he's been there and his teams are horrible.

I didn't have either side in this game....but what
a fxcking pathetic showing by WSU. Really hard
to believe that this same team has beaten
Washington 2x this season.

UCLA didn't even have a particularly impressive
night...they didn't need to.

they need to kick them out of the conference and beg gonzaga to join instead. it would help with the east coast bias folks who think the pac ten is weak.

Yea, that would work. Now all Gonzaga needs to do is field a football team

you can't be serious.
he is single-handedly responsible for the fact that they're even remotely competive right now. he is working with no talent and he has given gonzaga fits for the last few years, nearly swept the season series with arizona last year, and swept washington this year. they also beat a very good san diego state team on the road earlier this season. the guy is an outstanding basketball coach. obviously, theyre not an exciting team to watch. in fact, watching them in sometimes painful. but what he's done at wsu in his 3 years there has been remarkable, considering how devoid of talent that program is.

I would argue that Bennet is one of the best coaches in the country. I have followed his career from Green Bay to WSU and his team's play a style that can certainly be uneasy on the eye, and every year his teams seem to play a game or two like last night. (remeber when Wiscy scored 28 in the NCAA's a few years ago) With this being said, they are in virtually every game, and as his younger players gain experience they will start to win some of the close ones. He has had success in the NCAA's (Final Four and a few seconds from the Sweet 16 with UWGB,) so his style, while boring to watch, can work. Just ask Washington or Stanford a few years ago if they think he should take WSU out of the Pac 10, I am sure they would agree.

i am serious.....he's done nothing at wazzu...for every big win he's had, he's lost just as many pac-10 games as his predecessors and he really hasnt recruited any better than they did either. at wisconsin he did an excellent job (still a boring team to watch) but he hasnt come close to that at wazzu.....he's leaving the same empty cupboard that he inherited a few years ago when he arrived.

gjn,

Have you ever been to Pullman? I'm not trying to sound like a smartass when I ask that, it's just that it's one of the ugliest, most desolate towns you could ever imagine. It's wheat fields and... nothing else. It's hard enough to convince talented players to play for a bad team; it's even harder to convince them to come and live in the middle of nowhere where there is absolutely nothing to do.
