Took another break in posting plays after a disastrous swoon, but have been heating up again, so here we go:

BG +10'

I'm really surprised by this opening number. Its a big rivalry game, Toledo is off of huge Kent win and BG has been in every game of late with the exception of the decisive road loss to improving Miami. BG has stood toe to toe with the best of the MAC including a nice road win at Kent and two tough OT losses to Akron and Ohio U. I think that they are in this one start to end.

I can't pass up double digits in this one.

BG will work for forty minutes in this game, so the double digits are nice. Hopefully, they can keep Pink Floyd on the bench so he doesn't screw things up.

What do you think about the total in the Akron game?

I am tempted by the over as well, Dials and crew shot the 3 very well in the WMU game. A variable to consider tonight is the status of Futch who did not dress vs. WMU (bruised foot) While I'm told he will try to go tonight, I'm not so sure. Without big Futch leaning on Bowler I'd look for the Eagles to pound it down low all night in an attempt to get Romeo in foul trouble which could easily happen.

I probably won't know for sure about Futch until I hear the pre game drivel at 7 PM. If he does not go (and even if he does) I'm probably going to toss a few beans on the big home dog as Bowler will be a force and frosh guard Medlock gets better every time out. Also heard that this is "Cram the Convo" night at EMU and a large crowd is expected. They just might sway the officials into blowing a couple of whistles the Eagles way making this a difficult spot for the Zips tonight.

BTW Carl, amazingly enough Floyd has been super since the Akron debacle. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me when I read his incredeble line in the boxscore vs OU but I guess its true.

FYI:

UA center Futch is dressed and will play, but not starting. EMU's hopes for a big crowd tonight have not materialized.

I'm only up at this God awful hour(4:20 AM) because I think I may have broken a bone in my foot yesterday and can't sleep due to the pain. Its all freaking red and I can't put any weight on it. A trip for an Xray may be in my near future.

Saturday's brief recap:

Both EMU and BG were well within the number all night, though BG almost blew the cover late after leading most of the game.

They say that really good teams find a way to win when they don't bring their absolute best and Akron did not play their best game but still managed to win despite EMU's sizzling 58% from the field and 60% from the arc. Had bowler knocked down his FTs (6/14) EMU may well have won this one outright. Medlock is a budding star for the Eagles but will need some help if EMU is to move forward.

Wright St. won outright as a home dog in a double OT thriller that may have been the best game of the night anywhere.

As rare as a total eclipse, a nice 3-0 day.

Sunday playing OSU/ Illinois under 134, possibly more later

I seem to know when to peek in the basketball forum and tail your plays :thumb: Didn't get the add ons but appreciate the Bowling Green play. I can feel a nice run coming for ya. Take care of that foot (at least we know you didn't hurt it from kicking the TV yesterday) ;) Congrats on the sweep :mj14:

Thanks for the suggestions and comments gents, E.R. Doc says its a small stress fracture that will improve on its own if I take it easy for awhile, with the help of some Vicodin to deal with the pain.

Got the buckeye total in my only play of the day so I'm going to try to close a perfect weekend with a first half play:

GTown/ W Va under 58'
