Many times if you type a website name in and it is free you will see an offer from the owner that it's for sale.

Who do you buy a website from that doesn't exist? Using a made up example, if you typed in www.iojajeoifa.com, it would come up as an unavailable URL.

How do you buy one then? Who do you register it with? Any idea of the costs involved? I'll need one in a few years but maybe would buy it now to save it if it isn't too expensive.

godaddy.com is one of the cheaper places to buy a domain, and then you may also search for any domain you are interested in by just typing it in...

Should of read the whole post.. LMAO!!

If just buying one domain name $8.95

This domain name IS AVAILABLE:
SAINTDENTISTRY.COM $8.95*/yr

No ned to buy it now, unless you really coe across a anme you like, and want to make sure you own it.

My advice to you would be to buy the .net version of the name as well as the .com as they are the most widely used and recognized. You would hate to have a SAINTDENTISTRY.COM and then someone register a SAINTDENTISTRY.NET. This does not mean you would need tow websites, you would most likely use the .net as a pointer to the .com site. (Just like call-forwarding)

LMAO! MOre advice, I would also suggest doing the:

Private Registrations
Protect yourself from spam, scams, prying eyes and worse. l Today's Special - Only $1.95!

That way you truly do not get all the junk mail etc. that would come to you. No personal information released, available to prying eyes. (Or you could use false info for the site, background after it is up! Not recommended!!)

Thanks for the advice dogface. I definitely just cut and pasted it into a word file so i can find it when I need it.

You guys want a good laugh. I'm italian and will be a pediatric dentist. My mother and I came up with the following (as a joke not to seriously buy):

www.guidopedo.com :talk: moon1

That name goes over big in the prison system.............

Imagine the customers I'd get if I moved back to the NJ/NY area.

My patients would have chest hair by the age of 9.

I used to use godaddy, but now I have moved to www.1and1.com. It's cheaper and has several free features that godaddy does not.

Funny site name.
