his comments are extremely racist and as usual he is black so it is ok for him to make them.
how shalllow and discrediting to those atheletes that have worked years/days/hours to get there. obviously some of the contests are bs -curling being one of them, but how is ice skating any different than gymnastics? they all use judges. what makes a sprinter so much better than a speed skater?
javelin throw, shot put, the list could go on forever - there will always be events that someone takes exception with. i personaly can't stand the winter olympics because they bore me, but i am not going to sit and criticize these non-athelets (guarantee some of these chicks would get a hell of a following if they did a spread in playboy).
anyway, if it is that big of a deal, why can't gumby start a movement. get black sponsorship, rescue some of these street thugs to be at an early age, move all of them to colorado, and start training his own "black" winter olympic squad. we have several babies at the Med (in memphis) that could use a father figure anyway...... :fingerc:
