The much publicized bracket buster games which pit several smaller conference hopefuls against each other begins tonight. Love this time of the year. We should see some teams exposed for what they are and begin to place the "sleeper" tag on few others.

1 play tonight.

Akron +6 1/2 over Nevada.

The MAC has some talent here and Akron is one of the top 2 teams in this league. Nevada is a solid squad, but I see Akron keeping it tight if not winning outright. GL to all

There are alot of lousy games also--many teams with .500 or losing records playing and playing each other--why??

They schedule the teams for the bracket buster before the season. So they just match up the teams with bad records and the teams with good records play each other.

:mj07: Yeah, can't wait to see that C.Mich/Morehead State game. Also, E.Mich/E Illinois is a real bracketbuster! LMAO!

Blow out loss tonight. Not so good. Anyway, here are my Saturday picks

Arkansas -1
Georgia lay 1 1/2
Louisville +4
La Tech + 8 1/2
Bucknell +6
Eastern Michigan + 1 1/2

Three conference matchups and some bracket buster specials. They may not have the greatest matchups for these buster games, but there is money to be won.

Good Luck Bake, really the Bucknell pick but my numbers show N.Iowa right around 5-7 points better so I'll leave it alone. I think Bucknell could possibly win outright but can't bet it.
