Hey fellas, will be jumping in here this year with my wagers. Good luck and enjoy this great day of racing.

Some big overlays, IMO.

Taking #8 just for a short bit of fun. Others are value plays. I play paramutuel wagering, for better numbers.

#8 Earnhardt WIN at 4.55
#2 KBusch WIN at 39.20 and SHOW at 8.66
#29 Harvick WIN at 26.50 and SHOW at 6.93

Enjoy the day.

Thanks fellas....Best day i've had in nascar....I
was nervous wreck down the stetch, I just knew
somebody was going to pass him on those last
few laps but he drove his ass off...Johnson is a stud
nascar driver.... I think this win will spring board
him to a Nextel Cup Title...He looks strong!!! I know
it's early but this might be his year....

Good luck and kick ass

Nice work toast and coach !

These plate races are the hardest ones to pick especially when you have drivers out there making up the rules as they go.Why Nascar don`t fine or expel Tony from Nascar is beyond me.That was the most intentional hit I`ve have ever witnessed.Another thing that most fans did`nt catch was when he was told to go to the end of the longest line he did`nt.I think Wally made that point when he saw how fast Tony was making his way back to the front.

Another thing, they commercialized this race to death.I put the stopwatch on the race and we were watching an average of 5 min of the race and 3 min of commercials.(cut me a break!).If these races come to pay per view I`d gladly pay 10 to 20 bucks to see the race with no commercials.

Just had to vent.

I agree plate races are a total crapshoot. I have always seemed to do poorly when capping these races.

Way too many commercials, It seemed like the justify it by saying "we'll break in if anything happens" .

The real racing starts this week at California

I could`nt agree more.Maybe since FOX has this race we will see more of it.
Roush and Henrick cars are so strong here it`s hard to go against them.Olympic has adds up already.
An early longish lean is Vickers at 18-1.

Congrat to the winners this week. I'm a little bitter towards McMurray bumping KBusch, as I think Busch would have at least hit 2nd or 3rd - running so well with Newman late in the race. I'm not sure I blame McMurray, but it's too bad for my racebook balance.

I think having Busch on the team should really benefit Newman this year. Bumping him up on my watch list most weeks because of it.
