Dear

Thank you for your interest in CigarOne, if we may inquire, were you referred to us by one of our Members?

While I look forward making an excellent selection for you, I do ask that you kindly read through the information listed below and confirm that you agree with a few of our general policies before we ship your order.

Our History
As you might already know, we are a family owned business founded in 1998, by Terry, a true aficionado, whose dream was not only to surround himself with Cuban cigars but also to share this passion with fellow connoisseurs. Since the day the first box was bought and sold, CigarOne has come a long way. Established in Geneva, Switzerland, we are now privy to a 200sqft digitally calibrated state-of-the-art walk-in humidor. We also happen to have acquired one of the most extensive collections of Vintage Cuban Cigars through years of diligent attendance and bidding at Christie's Auction House.

Authenticity
Well established in the privileged world of Cuban cigars, we are fortunate tenders to over a thousand aficionados worldwide. Our solemn commitment is provide only the finest selection of Cuban cigars possibly available through Intertabak, the official Swiss Habanos S.A. supplier. While we understand that you might have received fake cigars in the past, you can be assured that ours are authentic. We actually form part of a Swiss based initiative to intercept and stop on-line sales of fake cigars as these undermine market values and hinder our sales.

General Shipping Policy
In regards to our shipping policies, we do employ a few discretionary methods to safely deliver our products to your home. For starters, we do not ship original boxes. There have been a number of recent seizures in customs and frankly, we prefer to know that you and not Mr. Officer is indulging in our cigars.

Shipping Cost
Concerning our shipping costs, we currently have a flat rate of +-$42 for up to 4 boxes or 110 cigars delivered to your home. Once again, your cigars are sent by private courier, with traceability and a guarantee of arrival.

Repackaging
We carefully remove the bands from your cigars and gently place these in an unmarked wooden box, separated by a thin sheet of cedarwood and wax paper, as is customary in Cuba. This box is sealed and the whole is vacuum sealed to ensure the freshness of your cigars. On larger format cigars and figurados, we generally wrap these in cellophane to protect them during transit.

Shipping Service
We send our packages via Private Courier and delivery is made within 3-4 business days. Your bands arrive about 5 to 7 business days after the cigars, as these are sent by the Regular Postal Service. As we do not own the Private Courier Jet nor the Postal Plane, please understand that some events are beyond our control.

In the event that something should occur, we do guarantee our shipments so stay calm, we will unquestionably re-ship your package.

A Little Reference
Apprehensive? Ask CigarWeekly.com; CigarPass.com; or Top25cigar.com all of whom have know us for a number of years. CigarAficionado also has us listed as one of two, alongside Davidoff, recommended retailers in Switzerland.

Last But Not Least
One little detail we ask you to keep in mind, is that we are physical people and as such, we revel in being addressed with the same respect and courtesy that we reserve for you.

Should you intend to proceed with this order you may click here, to access our secure payment server where you can safely enter your credit card information.

With this, I hope to have addressed all your inquiries and concerns and remain at your disposal should you need anything else.

Yours sincerely,

Emily

Ha ha ha, just got the same exact email from them. I am looking at placing an order as well. $42 for shipping isnt all that bad if you order a decent # of sticks. Looking at some Cohibas and Montecristos right now, hawkeye will look forward to hearing your report.

edit: Ordered a 10 sample pack, will let you know how/when it arrives. Paying less per stick even with shipping than for Padrons or Opus X.

Hawkeye, dealt with the same person. Ordered Cohiba Robustos/Siglio III/Siglio IV and Montecristo #2/#4. Interested to see how the ordering/shipping process plays out. Though this site has received very good reviews on the cigarafficianado boards.

Update: Sunday I got an e-mail saying my order had just been shipped-should take 3-5 days--don't know if it was Sunday or Monday over there-think they are on a 10-12 hour difference?? anyway--today-Tuesday my cigars were delivered by Fed Ex at 9:00 this am--wow. Came well packaged and in a small wooden box--no labels yet. The ship label by fed ex said 10 large cigars from Honduras aged in Swizterland. For personal use only not for resale. I am sure all of this is to throw off authorities so they don't think Cuban cigars are coming into the country? They are fresh and smell good--tonite I will lite one up.

Maybe you guys should check out www.cigarweekly.com.

It is very similar to the way that madjacks is set up.

I've been in the cigar business for several years, and I always get new information there.

You have to post and contribute (in order to get good sources) - but if you stick around awhile, you can really get some excellent deals on legitimate cubans - for as little as $7.00 per stick. (hong kong)

Check it out, and let me know if I can help in any way - my username is: Boomer.

CA is a little pretentious - some good info, but tough to sort through the b.s. sometimes.

"Hints of marzipan, coco, and licorice are detectable in the prelight aroma. Half way through I noticed a dash of nuts and saffron on the palate. Finishes strong with a subtle spicy anise and herbal qualities."
