Came out on the news wires about an hour before your post.

Ricky is an idiot.

Why is pot against NFL regs? It doesn't increase ability in any way.

He is a fool. But, the rule is pointless. Easier to be involved in a murder and play in the NFL, than to smoke weed.

I would rather run into Rickey after smoking a few joints then Leonard Little after having a few drinks.

Anyone who is asked to carry the ball 300+ in the NFL should be allowed to unwind with a few joints.

I may be crazy but I think pot is against NFL regulations because it is ILLEGAL. I had a team of monkeys working around the clock find that answer.

Why is that bad news? The guy obviously doesn't care about playing ball and Brown has a ton talent. He'll be just fine as the featured back.

...His mother, Sandy Williams, told the Palm Beach Post she would be "shocked" if her son would use marijuana again and strongly doubts that is the case.

Sandy Williams told the newspaper her son is currently in India and that they had not spoken of late. She speculated that he could have tested positive for a legal supplement he is taking in connection with his yoga studies.

"I'll bet my life he's not smoking marijuana," she told the Post on Sunday. "He's so particular about what he puts in his body now. I would just be shocked. I just don't believe he's smoking weed."

"I'm thinking maybe it was one of his [legal] supplements for his yoga school. I really just don't believe he's smoking weed."

:violin: :talk: :142crying Dream on momma, your cash cow :s8: got caught again. Yoga?? LMFAO!! In India?? That could explain how he might have "missed" a drug test, lol!! Sorry, but I don't feel much compassion for these idiots. Rich people that are stupid should pay others to think for them and tell them what to do so this sort of thing doesn't happen!

Speeding is illegal. Should they take away the guys right to earn a living in his profession for a speeding ticket. The punishment does not fit the crime. The marijuana laws are so outdated in this country.

Before you put a label on me, I gave that up a long time ago, mainly because it is illegal and I have to much to risk professionally by getting busted for having a joint. If I had my choice between unwinding after work with a alcoholic beverage or a joint, I would choose a joint. Used in moderation by resposible adults it is no more harmful (IMHO) then a hundred different things we do everyday.

If they made alcohol illegal and marijuana legal, I might even go to a Buffalo Bills game again. No way will I ever go there again with all the drunks and fights.

I'm with twofingers.

Who doesn't break the law in some fashion or another? Doesn't mean we dor or should automaticaly lose our job.

I would agree with the Dolphins punishing him, but not the league.
