guys here is my situation.
i have one local who takes the latest current line, which is fine. now i have another local who takes them out of the ny post. the ny post is the most wierdest lines i have seen. today alone it had colo st @pk (-3), iona -4 (-8), and the biggie ULL-8' (-13). other than playing the middle, would you overvalue one side? this is the first week and i'm down a little. do you take a heavier shot if you're getting an extra 3-4 points for nothing?? thanks

Do not take a heavier shot, its called chasing when your behind and is bad money management in any case,no matter how many extra points you are getting. The heavier bet carries most of the weight or influence in the finacial outcome of your situation. If the more highly weighted game losses, you've just titled the odds much more towards the bookie.Betting each game for the same means losing one game doesn't beat you by itself,no matter how "sure" of it you are.You just need any 53 or more out of 100 to hit.Be careful.GL

its simple you bet more on the bad/old line than the updated line. you overlay the bad line with more than enough to take care of the vig.

agreed...there is obviously more value in the line that is off by a few pts, so you play that heavier to gain the advantage

i'd go like a .5 unit heavier on the ny post line...so if your unit is $100...lay $100 on the correct up to date line and $150 on post line....you may lose a few of the heavier bets, but in the long run you should profit b/c you're getting a line that Vegas has adjusted off of...if it was correct or a good line they would've left it there for the most part...and you always have that hope for a middle and the big pay day

As sharp as the lines are at this time of year, 3 - 5 points is huge. I wouldn't go wild, but I would definately increase my wager on these.
