Not sure why but I have been perusing through the College FB forum the last couple of days. I guess with weasel and smurph agreeing on so much shit lately that this forum just hasn't been entertaining enough.

Anyway, after reading through this post I can't believe anyone was ever worried about a political/religious forum getting out of hand.

I can't see any comparison Dawg.
I don't see how topics we discuss here would remotely survive multiple closed threads in general forum.

Despite some heavily contest opinions here--this crew does good job of not letting things get out of hand. I believe it is because we have all posted for long time in this forum and while we adamantly disagree we still respect others right to their opinions.

Well said by all. It seems even those a little nuts that stop by once in a while. Are kept in check by all old timers. Darn hate saying old timers. I know how that really feals.
