and the point is?...

you progressives want a global economy?...the world is a village?....fine...you got it.....

just don`t let a people that can`t handle a "harsh cartoon" take any manner of control of running our ports, airports or national security....

The once greatest country in the world produces & makes almost absolutely nothing anymore. Businesses shuffle papers back and forth, here and there, and produce nothing. All technology & jobs are given and sold away.

I'm not sure we can stop it, can we? The economy requires growth to survive. It was inevitable that our economy would go "global" someday. I'm not saying its good or bad. Its hurt alot of folks; put them out of their jobs. But what can one do except try to find another one...and another one, and another...I do know that a growing economy is better than the opposite circumstance.

Surprised we got any with class action/litigation expenses eating into profits--
http://www.businessweek.com/2001/01_05/b3717001.htm

Then if you can make it through that you now have states "demanding" companys (walmart) pay x amount in benefits

then group together those here that think everyone ought to pay $20 an hour--

Why be subjected to these liabilties when no one in any other country is--an how can a person buy american stocks on anticipated profits when you know chances of billion dollar class action suit is just around the corner.

When the time comes that productivity can not overide these factors we will find ourselves moving to mexico for better paying jobs. I see some hard times for younger generation unless things change.
