they look like dogshit tonight but their OOC resume speaks for itself. normally im skeptical of teams from weak conferences (and c-usa is awful this year because of the defections) but memphis is pretty legit, regardless of this lame effort tonight.

They won by 10..............UTEP is a hard team to run up the score on........they play tough defense and are very deliberate on offense........as bad as everyone thinks Memphis looked in a 10 point win........did Duke or UCONN look any better the last 2 nights?????

Like I said we will see maybe they will prove me wrong. By the way I wasn't talking about how much they won by, they have great athletes i'm not real sure if they have good basketball players.
Well they could have possibly the best point guard in the nation and Carney's numbers are better than Redick and Morrison per minute........
WELL we will see.......................again, I will take both of those guys and teams over memphis any day

this team is legit....been high on them all year...only knock on them is they are a little inexperienced at some positions...
I watched them early live against alabama and they were impressive. We struggled mightily but their tempo dictated the game the whole day.

Memphis played the best part of their schedule early against good teams but not in-season ready teams. Think this will hurt them in the end. This was a even game if Tofi had been able to have his average game. The points will be looking good early in the tournament.

"average game"- what if Carney had his average game or if Washington had his average game... Douglas-Roberts picked up the slack a little, but those two had terrible nights and they win by double digits... although it didnt cover
I wouldn't write off Memphis as a team who will see close action early in the tournament... keep in mind they have beaten some teams pretty handily this year, but everyone only seems to remember the close ones, like they expect Memphis to win by 20+ everynight, they have the talent for it, but things don't work that way
