not only that, but minnesota has already knocked off 3 ranked teams at home during conference play. and illinois isn't exactly a juggernaut. not saying i want any part of the gophers in this one, but this game is not exactly going to be a cakewalk for the illini.

IOWA will cheat the hell out of ya. I have seen this for 20 some years but the ref's they get come directly from the corn fields. This is my play of the day.

I don't post much but I really like the Gophers in this spot....only gettin' 3.5 from the 10th ranked Illini but inside the numbers will show that the Gophers have a good record @ home 12-4 and the Illini are a below average 3-4 on the road....I'll take a chance

Add in Big Ten officiating and that brings the number up to about +7. I'm gonna wait and see if it goes up even more!!

I think a lot of people will naturally focus on the 24 point drubbing Minny suffered at Illinois. Then, they will ask themselves this question, is revenge enough of a factor to keep the Gophers within three at home, or is this simply a bad matchup for Minny regardless of where these two teams play? We will find out the answer tonight!
