Updated record:
Big 12: 25-11-2 (+$1,990)
Other conferances: 11-6 (-33)
Total last 55 plays: 36-17-2 (+$1,957)

Yesterday recap: 1-2
--- Won with Missouri, which some said couldn't be done. However, turned out to be a big lossing day, as I tried to stick my neck out into other conferances and made a big play. I feel like I was on the "right side" of the Minnesota game, and had some unfortunate turns go against me :142crying .. and everyone else (there were a lot) that bet on Minnesota... but thats the risk. Oh well. :violin: I learned this math equation:

Capping teams that you don't know much about + terrible money management= Big losses

I am 11-6 out of the Big 12, and yet I have lossed money... yuck...

Anyhoo, lesson learned. On to the picks:

Nebraska -1.5 (K. St.), -110, 220/200
---- Nebraska is 14-4 in Lincoln. Kansas St. is 1-8 when playing away from Manhattan. Is there much more to say?
Nebraska needs this one too keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive... Like this one, will play it for two units.

Baylor +1 (Tex. Tech), -105, 210/200
--- Really like this one as well. Baylor continues to be good to me. Texas Tech has beaten Baylor 6 straight times, and I think that streak ends tonight in Waco.
If Texas Tech hadn't been playing better recently, this might have been a bigger play for me.
Zeno is hobbled as well, which gives me added confidence...

Probably taking a pass on the other two games, although I may be back on later with a possible play on the KU total... And I will definately be staying within the Big 12 tonight, I think that is best... :scared

GL tonight everyone... I need to make some money back...

Really like Nebraska as well tonight...line seems a little suspicious, but has crept up to 2 or 2' at most places

Nice job on Mizzou last night. It seemed like both teams were trying not to cover that one. It may have been a little more exciting if Iowa St was up 8 instead of 7 when Stinson launched (and made) that 3 that was ruled after the buzzer.

goodluck tonight Thor. I like Baylor as well, feel as though public will obviously be on TT in this one so I like our side. I also like A&M to cover vs Texas tonight, what are your thoughts on that game?

Thanks for the comments fellas...

Here are my opinion on the two games I took a pass on:

KU-CU
---- I really have no idea how KU will bounce back from getting spanked in Austin, I honestly don't. I don't think there is any way CU will come into Lawrence and pull off an upset, but would I be surprised by a close game? No. Would I be surprised with another blowout, like I saw when these two teams hooked up in Boulder? Not in the least. If Roby blows up, this one will be close... so I don't even have a lean... sorry...

UT-TAMU
--- TAMU seems to play everyone close in the Big 12, and they always seem to win at home... so Paine, you are probably on the right side before tip-off, as well as the fact that UT has been struggling on the road to teams inferior to A&M (KSU/OSU 1 point road wins).
I imagine the public is heavy on UT, as Vegas would assume... I just find it very hard to go against UT in-conferance, because their talent level is so much higher than the other teams in the conferance. This team could win the national championship.. and lets just say the other 11 have no chance. If I had to make a play Paine, it would be on TAMU, but I don't... so I had to lay off... I will DEFINATELY be rooting for your TAMU play though... if they could rip off the upset that would delight me to no end.

BLG- I think you are making a mistake on that one, of course. For some reason, people think it is the plague to bet on Baylor. I have won more money on Baylor than any other Big 12 school this season... They play hard, are well coached, and surprisingly have decent talent and a good home court advantage. Can't wish you good luck tonight, bud... sorry...

GL with all of your other plays, guys.

That we did Wox!

Smitty says this a lot, and I like it: "The harder it is to make a play, the better chance it usually has of winning."

GL on your card tonight Wox...

made Baylor my biggest play tonight, I just can see the public staying away from Baylor because of their rep, like you said. That makes it easier to put more $ on them.

Nice call on Misery. They actually played with a little passion and Iowa State is a terrible defensive club. I like your Nebraska play, but probably laying off Baylor.

I just added Texas A&M +7 and already took Kansas -9.5. Jayhawks just seem to own Buffs and I expect a thumping tonight. Huge game for A&M as a win puts them on the NCAA bubble.

Thanks Trolln... glad to have you along...

DD, good luck on your plays, man... Sometimes I love night classes, tonight I hate them. Have to miss the KU game to take a Spanish exam.

I despise Spanish. Whoever made learning it a requirement should be shot... Alright, done with the rant. Just want to watch the Hawks.

I'm off until later... GL...

Love the Baylor pick, too much pub on Nebraska for me. Hopefully this will be Barry Collier's ticket out the door with a bad home loss tonight!
