America?s sport is set to hit the stage internationally. About to be recognized as the ?World Cup Of Baseball?, the World Baseball Classic will feature 16 nations, with many of the best ballplayers competing to claim their countries right as the best in baseball.

This is a great way to promote the sport of baseball internationally and it will be a chance to see how foreign countries outside of the United States have grown and developed in the sport.

Most Vegas odds makers have been busy placing the U.S as the team to beat however the beauty of this event is it?s the first of its kind. Countries like Japan, Cuba and the Dominican Republic have produced some incredible ballplayers so the competition will be fierce.

Japan, Taiwan, China and Korea have been invited to play along with Puerto Rico, Panama and likely Italy; the United States, Canada, Mexico and likely South Africa; the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Australia and the Netherlands. Yet to accept the invitation is Cuba.

Online bookmakers Bodog Sportsbook tipped the Dominican Republic as 1/1 favorites to win the Classic followed by the United States at 7/5. Venezuela is a close third at 3/1 closely followed by Cuba (5/1) and Japan (9/1).

Bodog:

Dominican +100
US +140
Venezuela +300
Cuba +500
Japan +900

Pinnacle:

Dominican +179
US +155
Venezuela +486
Cuba + 1569
Japan +1304

at least you were close on the US, but a serious question as i know you read this, do you even care that your lines offer zero value across the board, or is your customer base so "unsavy?" or a better word "dull"

Are you a Pinnacle afficionado BleedDodgerBlue?

no, just someone who looks for value which in this particular instance you DON'T offer. i've never joined bodog, nor do i ever have a desire with fleecing like this. you don't need me anyway, not the customer you are looking for.

i have no ill will toward you or your book as you do quite well, but since i post here i have an obligation to inform others that if they were going to bet this particular event that there are MUCH better offers out there.

Hows this:

BODOG:

Bodog:

Dominican +100
US +140
Venezuela +300
Cuba +500
Japan +900

SPIRO and OLY:

Dominican +175
US +150
Venezuela +300
Cuba +1500
Japan +1000

again, not as good as pinny, but still "more bang for your buck"

once again, no hard feelings, but if you post on a message board lines that are really poor value, you have to understand that members will see through it and inform others that the lines "stink"

gl, but i'm sure bodog does just fine.
