I havent watched it yet and I probably wont. I have never been a Howie fan anyways

Give Howie a chance. He's pretty good at MCing and he has some pretty good one-liners.

Kids love this show. I'm sittin' there yelling for the big money to show up and then they get mad when it pops up, like I had something to do with it.

No question its rigged also. I have the eerie feeling Bleeddodgerblue would rock at this game.

please keep it exciting for central time zone also, as the Hawkeye game is pre-empting it until 2:00 a.m.

not sure why agent thinks it can be rigged, sort of a fun and brainless show to watch......

time to switch away to lost in 7 minutes tho.....GO HAWKEYES!!!

Yeah Im sure they just let it go, and it ends up exciting EVERY time. They could never have different amounts in those briefcases that would pop up however they want them to.

I think one way that it "could" be rigged is if the people making the offers know what amount is in the case. If they know it is a really big number, then they can make their offers more enticing to take. If they know it is a small number, they can skew their offers to the lower side making them continue on and only get the small amount in their case.

With that said, I don't think the show is rigged. They are making HUGE amounts of money right now because this is the hot game show. Why would they risk that?

Why is it that people just can't believe things are on the up and up?

I think they know what amount is in what case, but they base the offers on a computer program that spits out a fair offer based on %'s of them picking the different cases.

That is pretty much what happens. I've been watching the show for years, but in Mexico it's called "Vas or No Vas." :SIB They have hotties on that show too. :142hump:

Because most of the time they arent? Do you really believe they would really throw 1,000,000 and 2,000,000 out there randomly about 3-4 times per show and not know whats in each case? PLEASE!

Call me naive. $1,000,000 is nothing compared to the ad revenue generated. Being that they can mathematically minimize their risk of actually losing that much, then I don't see it being a huge advantage to know. Do they? I don't know. I don't really think it affects the game that much anyway.

But as said above, by using a very simple equation, then they could come up with their discernable advantage. They take all that's left and divide it by the number of cases, throw in some house vig, and there is your offer. You would also need a tertiary number which would be how many cases are left compared to how many choices they have to make before their next offer.

dawgball, you are so naive!
