Thanks Wayne. Those of you who reside in those states make sure you vote for those senators listed above when they come around for re-election. Remember the lessons of Nazi Germany. Although we must be conscious of foreign terrorism, the real enemy lies within. It is subtle and not so obvious. Be aware of voting away your rights and freedoms our forefathers fought forto those who use fear and lies for their own gain.

Remember the war in Iraq was based on weapons of mass destruction. Now tens of thousands of lives later, the reasons have changed and that country is on the brink of a civil war. This administration has changed its reasons for invading that country and killing many Americans and Iraqis. Remember who still sends us videotapes. The man responsible for killing 3000 Americans on 9-11.

Remember who has distracted us from hunting he and his organization down by this war in Iraq. Remember which American companies profit from the deaths of tens of thousands of people so that oil supplies can be guaranteed under the guise of the reason du jour (freedom for the Iraqi people) when they are on the brink of civil war.

Remember that when the dissenters, not the goose-stepping republican minions line up to support this most corrupt administration and vote in favor of the continued diminishment of your freedom. Remember.

Oh yeah, and always remember the cutesy little name tags these bought and sold criminals put on there little bills and laws like "patriot" act and "water conservation" act when the reality is that these acts do the exact opposite of what their respective titles imply.

Last week they had 3 Reb's that were voting no. Must have had someone change there mind. I can only hope we keep having a few folks that question some of these bills, and say no. The rubber stamping needs to stop. Most of these no's come over a fight about a 7 day waiting period about government being able to enter your house and not explain why a second time. First time they don"t even have to tell you they were there. Just think they can go in your house when your not there and do not need to tell you. The law does not say just Muslims homes. It says anyones.

During the 04 elections, Feingold's opposition to the Patriot Act -- or rather his willingness to look into it's necessity -- was considered a positive thing outside of hard-core right wing circles (who would've never voted for him anyway). I know it's one of the things I admire most about him.

I think that point was proven in other thread---;)
Not surprising which side YOU have lined up on in "every" instance. :)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Not so surprising---allow terrorist in school but keep miltary of campus.
Falls right in line with other liberal elements

Media >refer to terrorists as freedom fighters run prison scandal on our troops front page 40 + days

ACLU>Sue to give terrorists attorneys--and fight to have more prison pictures on troops published.

Hollywood> produce pics here and abroad dissing our troops and portraying terrorist once again as freedom fighters.

Politics> Spend billions to capture Saddam--have former attorney general defend him

Appears they are pretty well coordinated.

Oscars for UBL--

Should you be help these teachers under their "freedom of speech"--or be in Chicagotoday in suit to get streets named after black panthers?

Wayne- I'm sure they may be out there, but what other movies dissing troops came out recently besides the Gary Busey/Billy Zane one that I assume no one here has seen?

The only military movie I can think of in the past year or so is Jarhead about marines, which our own Marine here seemed to thoroughly enjoy. That grossed $62 million in the US.

I realize that, for the most part, Hollywood is extremely liberal, but to paint a picture of it being this anti-troops conglomerate based on one foriegn film made by a couple of cut-rate actors seems a bit extreme. Most military/war movies made by Hollywood make the troops out to be heroes.

Charles Krauthammers article your referring to includes three of these currently showing -Munich-Syriana and Paradise Now-- don't know if any more are in making--it one thing for foreign pics to do them but quite another for liberals here to do them.
It's the whole liberal assault that get's me mr B.
You'll have Edward tell you the teachers I referred to in other thread (under freedom of speach)have the right to tell pupils that we deserved 911 and that current admin resembles Hitler--but I doubt if he would say the same if if the extremist were in school preaching their hate on blacks and jewish people--doubt also if he would consider burning crosses freedom of expression--he happens to pick and choose--I say there is no place for either especially in the classroom grade/high school in particular.

Hey it's ok for the nuke deal with India. And we just gave
Iran what they wanted with that deal. But Senators should not stand up for some basic rights here at home. Let's put our ports in the hands of governments that backed terrorist. Then try to bluff us about the patriot act as being the savor of America. Such BS.
Where were about 60 more Senators with balls.

How much have the American taxpayers contributed to Haliburtons bottom line to fund the invasion of balsa wood delivery systems..... are we at a 1/2 trillion yet? Forget the lives lost, lets just talk bucks spent.

Yeah, Wayne and Weas, call me a liberal and an ambulance chaser. Don't change the truth of the message does it. Your boy and his moral christian asswipes in congress are spending money, killing people and whittling away peoples rights faster than Adolph, Heinrich, and his boys were doing the same thing some 70 years ago.

Only difference is that instead of blaming the jews, intellectuals and the non arians, your chosen ones are blaming the muslims, intellectuals and liberals or as I prefer to call myself, those of us THAT WANT TO CHANGE WHAT THE F*** IS GOING ON IN GOVERNMENT TODAY. I guess thats a bad thing, huh.
