Phoenix -4.5

Phoenix has been on a tear as of late, winning 10 straight games. They roll into Oklahaoma City fresh off a big victory over Western power Dallas. New Orleans has lost two straight, most recently an 89-67 beating at the hands of the Clippers in which they scored an NBA-record low 15 second-half points.

Phoenix, unfortunately, is not a team that you want to face when your lacking confidence. Phoenix has averaged 115.6 pp/g over their 10 game win streak, winning by an average margin of 13 points.

Phoenix has won 6 of their last 7 games against the Hornets, including a 101-88 victory @ NO earlier this season.

*Phoenix is 8-4 ATS on zero days rest this season.
*NO/OKL is 1-3 ATS when playing on 3+ days of rest this season.
*Phoenix is 17-9 ATS on the road this season, including 10-4 ATS against above .500 opponents.

Adding...San Antonio -4.5

San Antonio has a golden oppurtunity here after Dallas' loss to Phoenix yesterday to increase their lead to one full game in the Southwest division. The Lakers come in hot off a SU win at Detroit but I do not put much faith in that victory. Detroit had just run out of gas which was evident in the second half of their loss to Denver when they only mustered 31 points and the fact that Seattle took them to the wire the previous night.

San Antonio is an impressive 20-9 as the visitor this season. San Antonio has won six straight in this series. The Spurs have captured three in a row and five of their last six contests at the Lakers.

I just don't see the Spurs losing the chance to take a one-game lead over Dallas for the top spot in the race for number one seed in the West and all-important home-court.

Who do the Suns think they are? The Spurs?? Holding the Hornets to just 9 fourth quarter points was one of the most impressive things I have seen this season from this team.

Sometimes you cap a game and everything works out as planned. Other times you are just plain lucky. Either way gotta love the second-half efforts of both the Spurs and Suns. They combined to outscore their opponents 112-78. :mj06: :mj06:
