refusing to play any perimeter defense whatsoever, getting absolutely embarrassed on the boards. How do you give up 8 offensive rebounds in 10 minutes?! Oh that's right, you have no heart. Doesn't look good for us BC bettors does it?

I have BC +4 so I'm obviously rooting for them to cover, but NC's effort is a thousand times better than BC's. Even if BC is up 1 I don't feel real good about my bet considering their effort.

And since you mentioned how well they shot in the 1h and they're only up 1, I think that bodes well for NC bettors.

I wasn't correcting you, Quagmire, although to say "awful" is not the right word. Their defense and rebounding was pretty bad there for a while, but UNC couldn't stop them either.

Good win Quagmire. I lost my bet, but more upset that UNC lost. Esp when they got manhandled on the boards.

Thanks TD Jesus. I was very skeptical but BC came through for me. I'm still not really sold on them as far as going deep in the tourney though. It just seems like they take a lot of plays off and don't play for 40 minutes, which is what you have to do in the tourney. I have to give them credit for sucking it up and getting stops and rebounding when they had to though. NC has some unbelievable young players. It's scary to think how good they will be over the next couple of years.
Like I say, they got killed on the boards all day. That was a lot of the difference.
One thing I hated at the end, on those 2 really important misses by BC. First one, Hansbrough and Noel were fighting for the rebound and while neither controlled it from the other one, a BC player ties them up. Chit happens. That was just some tough luck.
On the last one, ball took a weird bounce off the rim, way to the right. But, man, you've got to box out like crazy. There was only one guy (plus the shooter) for BC. If they box him out, ball might go out of bounds and give UNC the full 2.7 sec's.
But, very good year for the Heels. They just got outplayed today. Great season and great future, hopefully can make a run in big dance.
