you will be sorry if you fade sdsu. they could be the most dangerous mid-major in the tourney.

Watching this conference all season...............you may be making a mistake thinking SDSU is very good......they sucked last night and tonight vs very mediocre teams...........they lost at home to Utah..........they beat almost no one out of conference and think they will lose early.........just my opinion.......

been watching the conference all year as well .. and feel they have all the pieces in place for an upset in the tourney. they've only had abukar for half of the season, spain was suspended for a few games, and slaughter was hurt for the end of non-conference play and the beginning of mwc play. they have a tendency to turn it off and on too much. but when they were focused, nobody in the mountain west was even close to them

Well, one has to wait to see the brackets but it's possible for SDSU to make some noise in the Big Dance. But don't count on it.

Aztecs have one quality player in Slaughter. Forget about Heath and the rest...their coach for that matter, Fisher.

MWC was crap this year...which makes the Aztecs - the cream of the crap.

I would be lying if I said I followed the Aztecs religiously this year but every time I saw them play they looked either downright bad or very average. They seem like the prototypical "team that looks good because they're in a bad conference" kind of team. The fact that they struggled mightily to beat a weak Wyoming team speaks volumes to me. Can't see them doing much against the big boys...

horizon was far worse than the mwc. that doesn't mean uw-milwaukee is a shit team.

forget about heath? huh? he only hit 40+% from the 3pt range this year on well over 200 attempts. also one of the best free throw shooters in the country.

abukar is a blue chip athlete. spain was terrific as a freshman. they can shoot the 3. they can make their free throws. they got to the line more than 200 more times than their opponents. they have a legitimate stud in slaughter.

whats not to like?

Dont get me wrong fellows I guess you can call me a homer for SDSU Athletics even though I didnt go to college I have lived all my life in SO. CAL and yes they are my team just like the Chargers will always be my team.

Win or Lose in the Tourney this team has done everything they were expected as a team day in and day out.

Gman I feel exactly how you feel about the talent.

I hope everyone had a good season and If I pissed anyone off I apologize.
