Either I'm missing something or my book is. He has odds to win the Oakland region listed. He lists 11 teams and then the field at +2000. Only thing is that UCLA is not listed, hence a field team. I put $500 on UCLA to win the region, then after they get by Belmont, I can hedge every game and make a massive profit right:
UCLA to win 500 to win 10,000.
UCLA second round take $1000 on UCLA's oppenent at most likely even odds on the ML?
Next round, take Gonzaga most likely at 1-2 odds risk $3000 to win $1500.
Following round take other team at maybe 2.5 to 1 at $3000 to win $1200?
If ULCA wins them all, I collect 3K, if they lose from rounds 2 through the final I still win.
Am I missing something obvious here?
