Syracuse/A&M

This just seems like the ultimate trap game,but I think I will bite.

Syracuse is hot and playing as a unit really for the first time this season.
A&M has been hot as of late as well,but against who???
Beat a Texas team who last looked very average on the road as of late. THey killed a bad TT team to end the season. Beat up a overrated CU team.

Syracuse zone defense vs. A&M will be interesting as A&M has some shooters(Law,Carter,Kirk).

Bottom line is Syracuse reall doesn't deserve a 5 seed based on entire season work and A&M doesnt deserve to be in the tourney based on resume.

PLAY is SYRACUSE(-1)

I figured the names alone plus the conferences these teams play in would make this line 5-7.

Texas A&M was hot down the stretch and is more than capable of beating a Syracuse. Most of the time, teams don't play well in the first tourney game after winning a conference tourney.

the fact that the line isn't 5-7 here tells me a lot...

they must want everyone to be on syracuse...

what do you think most people remember...tex a/m shallacking of colorado and losing close to texas, or the cuse great run through the conference tourney...public will hit this hard, and i'm definately leaning the other way! good luck

That is why I was calling it a trap game of sorts.
I saw A&M play a ton of games this season and they have come a long way.
Most of the season it was just Law and Jones carrying the load.
It is still that way but others have stepped up(Carter,the Russian PF).
A&M was hot against below average competition.
I am hoping Syracuse remembers last season vs. Vermont and comes ready like they did for the Big East Tourney.

Facts about A&M.
Record vs. teams in the tourney is 2-6.
A win over Texas(on a prayer three) and Norwestern St.
6 losses to Texas,OU,KU,Pacific.

I am not saying Syracuse is going to kill A&M.
Hell I am not even saying Syracuse is going to win.

I am saying that this line is off in my opinion by about 5 or 6 points.
So it is a play for me.

I know Syracuse can fall flat. I had them at Depaul. Believe me I know.

I think Vegas put this line out based on Syracuse all seaon.
The NCAA gave them the 5 based on the run in tourney.Which is a joke.
Syracuse is a 8-9 at best,but I have too many questions about A&M.Like you said.THEY BLOW.

Syracuse has a spell on the b-i2 . They are the only team from the B- EAST to win a B-i2 Championship. I know it's the past but it's fun to talk about.

On a serious note. If they make the line Syr -5.5 to -6.5 they get hit harder with Syr money,this line looks like a trap and will draw money to the other side, and that is where they want it. If Syr plays the way they have of late, this will be the best team Tx A&M has played this year. Would not be surprised to see this line move to a PK or A&M -1 by game time. If it does you know it's all Syr.
