I don't have time for good write ups on the early plays, but here they go:

Davidson +11 (-120) for 4*... Davidson always plays a tough schedule so they won't be intimidated in this game. Buckeyes lackluster performance to end the season makes this a play.

Northwestern State +7 (-120) for 5*... Hawkeyes coming off the huge emotional high of winning the Big 10 tourney and now must face Northwestern State? The spread is only 6.5? Looks like sucker city to me and I'll be on a puppy who doesn't have a problem scoring.

Wisconsin (+100) for 4*... Badgers play solid defense and are well coached. Zona going through late season turmoil and I expect it to effect their play today.

Bucknell +5 for 4*... Bison loved beating Kansas last year and should be sky high for matchup with Arkansas.

The favorites went 9-6-1 ATS yesterday according to my numbers so let's hope the Underdog players get their revenge today. :mj06: :em71:

Let's hope the favorite players are :scared

It looks like Wisky forgot they have to play defense. That game is definately on life support.

Afternoon plays and I'll plan on posting again around 6:00 ET all the night games.

Northern Iowa +4 for 5*... I really like this play. Mo Valley feels like they have something to prove and majority of fans should be rooting for the Panthers. I'm concerned how N. Iowa deals with the frontcourt for G'Town, but I have confidence they make this a close game.

Southern Illinois +5 (-120) for 5*... Nothing impressed me about West Virginia to end the season. They're unathletic and don't rebound. Salukis are an excellent defensive team and should make this a low scoring grinder. Happy to take the generous points.

Memphis -10 (-120) for 4*... This line opened at 17 and now is at 10.5??? I know Oral Roberts has two solid players in Tutt and Green, but the remainder of their athletes can't complete with the Tigers studs. One of the few favorites I like today.

Monmouth +20 for 4*... Sure Villanova could destroy this team, but I think Monmouth slows the pace and keeps this game relatively close before losing by 12-16 points. I realize Monmouth could be a little drained after playing on Tuesday, but Villanova hasn't been particularly impressive late in the year.

GLTA & Happy St. Patrick's Day!

:mj06: 3-1 start to the day, but some of these afternoon plays not looking too good. Memphis down to Orla Roberts and Monmouth down 12, while West Va pounding SIU by 15.

Night Plays (Limited Write Ups as I'm leaving for the day to go celebrate being Irish!)

Kent State +7 (-120) for 5* & ML (+250) for 2*... Look I know Pitt looked great in the Big East tourney, but they are facing a tough Kent State squad that went to the Elite 8 in 2002, their last tourney appearance. This team has a lot of talent and should give Pitt all they can handle IMO. I can guarantee all the Kansas fans will be rooting for Kent State as well.

George Mason +5 (-120) for 5*... Michigan State may have some NBA talent in Davis, Ager, and Brown, but they don't have a PG and this will hurt them tonight against a solid GMU squad. Michigan State just hasn't played good to end the season and I don't see much changing tonight.

Kansas -6.5 for 7* & 1st half -3.5 for 3*... Jayhawks have been very impressive to end the season and I think Bradley will feel a little overwhelmed. Guard pressure will be the difference.

Albany +21 for 3*... I have watched Albany and they are an athletic squad. However, they lack size to really matchup with UConn. I still think the Huskies cruise to a 14-18 point win.

Penn +15 for 4*... Horns have nasty habit of playing to their competition. Quakers are good enough to keep this close. Expecting Texas wins by 9-12 points.

Cal +3 (-120) for 5*... Powe should come up big vs. NC State and Wolfpack haven't looked good down the stretch. I expect a close game so I'll gladly grab the points.

UAB +3 for 5*... Kentucky is so good and they will want revenge and blah-blah. Bottom line is a similar UAB team beat a much better Kentucky team 2 years ago and I'm not going to be surprised if they pull another upset this season. UAB has won gone to the Sweet 16 and 2nd round the past 2 seasons and I see them extending this streak.

Murray State +11.5 for 4*... Tough to go against UNC, but they are a young squad and facing a very athletic Murray State squad that should give UNC plenty of problems.

Well time to start drinking! Be careful if you're driving tonight and may today be very prosperous for your bank account. GLTA
