Read in the paper that Natasha Lacy, leading scorer for TCU will not play. She was given a leave of absence for personal reasons--did not travel with the team--and would not be available.

Lacy leads the team in points, rebounds (especially defensive rebounds) and assists, and second place ain't very close. Somebody is gonna have to come up HUGE to make up for that.

A&M is a young team, so anything can happen, but they did lead the Big 12 in points allowed, steals and turnover margin, and they allow and avg. of 9 ppg lower than TCU.

The line has not reflected the loss of Lacy, it is unchanged from its open.

Line is A&M -6.5

I agree Kegray, and they play great defense. I just don't see who TCU could have step up like they are gonna need.

Oakland a 16 seed was a 15-15(8-8) team in the Mid-Con.
A conference won by West. Ill with a record of 23-7(13-3).

Ohio St beat West. Ill 75-36.

If they can beat the confernce best by 39,then they can beat a mid pack team by 27. Even when they start resting players.

They just don't get paid as much as the men do.

I was ambivalent about the OSU play--saw someone at another site pretty high on them, but for ****'s sake I have been backdoored by these big spreads a couple of times this weekend. Took another look after reading your post and I will give it a small shot--put a parlay on it with A&M ML.

It's Aggieland or Hell for me tonight. This much is certain.
