There are several copies of the clip floating around the internet, once Everett gets on top of Jim notice how he just sits there until the camera finally fades to black, if he really wanted to he could have beat the shit out of Rome, it was obviously staged.
Even now when asked about it Jim does not admit it was a publicit stunt, but he also does not deny it.
If you enjoy listening to the same run of the mill crap that Patrick or Cornheiser run on the air every day then so be it.
