Lowell - What happened to the "mighty" ACC today?

I will defend the acc here. NC state was a #10 seed playing a #2. North Carolina was the higher seed but had an amazing season considering what they lost from last year.

I will be the first to admit that the Acc was not as strong as it usually is. I don't think thats a knock against a conference that they are expected to carry more then 2 teams into the sweet 16 and when they don't they all of a sudden arent good.

Its been obvious to me that the big east is the best conference this year by far and after that you could make arguments for several conferences as the second best with the ACC being one of those. The ACC will be even better next season.

kind of early for me to do math without a calculator but isn't 6-2 better than a record of 9-4 for big east? i still think florida state deserved to get in. they sure played duke better than texas and memphis and even bc.

6-2 is better than 9-4 but the missouri valley is 4-2 which i know is not as good but considering there there seeding was 7,10,11 and 13 pretty impressive, but I'm sure they probably wont be around after the next round but who knows.
