What is going on with this line? :shrug:

Louisville, as expected, is a BIG public play...

And yet this line continues to drop. Opened at 5, and is down to 3.5 (and dropping).

I smell a rat.

Clemson lines have done some funny things all season...very similar to the movement in tonights game...as you stated public is all over Louisville...and i would be on clemson almost def..except for the fact that I have seen this team play tough all game and simply faqll apart late in games at least 4 times this year and they cant hit free throws ...if the spread were like 6 or 7 i would be on them..at 3 howver there is simply no way i can play them...sometimes the majority of bettors are correct ..and i think there have been several times in which the spread makers have simply given Clemson to much credit on the road..

Thanks for the insight... I see where you are coming from... but it just makes no sense to me that 67% of the public is currently on Louisville, and yet the opening line has dropped by a point a half in the publics favor...

Someone knows something that I dont...

Just my 2 cents.... I think Vegas is looking for Clemson money. If joe pub sees the line moving in thier favor , they might just bite and take the bait. This is a no play for me, but If I had to, I would be on L-ville tonight.

That thinking is far too sophisticated...

And also... If Joe Pub saw the line moving in their favor and bit, they would be pounding Lousiville more. They are now only needing to lay 3 instead of 5.

Betting against the public when the line moves like this has been incredibly profitable this year. I see no reason to stop doing this now... even though I know nothing about these teams!
