All those comments from the top before the war are disgusting to look at now. Wolfowitz said the war would cost $1.7 billion.
Please forgive us, oh great leaders, when we feel just a bit deceived. When you misjudge the cost, casualties, timetable, and reason for the war this bad I really think it's our duty as members of a free democracy to ask you WTF?

Spibble, is that the best you can come with ? They were off on the budget ? These guys were wrong at every turn of the page. If VP Cheney was in the financial world and these statements were used against him in a criminal investigation,he would have to throw himself @ the mercy of the court after he was criminally prosecuted. No one with a single shred of credibility can Defend the Bush/Cheney due-diligence for this war. Don't you think that prior to committing capital,lives,arms,legs and minds that these people should have had a little better idea on how this thing was going to unfold ? I'll give you the budget being off but their concept of what was going to happen and what is happening is like day and night. If the budget was the biggest problem,we would not have a problem. These guys did not heed the warnings,it's not like all the opposition was coming from the far left, many on the right saw this coming,hell if they had only listened to the military. Do you think a little poking around will fix this. If Cheney had any balls and a conscience,he would have a nice hot bath drawn for him and bring the raiser blade. How could anyone play such a part in the waste of life and live with them-self ?

Sec. Rice was on with Tim Sunday. I guess there are no answers for the Bush/Cheney pre war fantasy.
I saw her and felt some what sorry for her. I believe she is smart. But I also believe she has no choice but follow the talking points.
There is no accountability within the administration. The press has failed us miserabily also. Some here are posting that Bush has faced a tough press. If anything the press has been way to easy on this group and shoulder some of the blame for the mess we find ourselves in.
