Bucky Covington eliminated tonight on American Idol?

If I remember correctly, he wasn't even in the bottom three last week.....he sucked this week, this is true, but he must have a big mid-west contingent voting for him...anyway $100 bet gets you $116 if he doesn't get voted off...just looking for opinions...

elliot, lisa, and bucky in bottom 3 imo

i think lisa or elliot goes home though. probably elliot.

i like bucky. he can't win though. there are plenty of better singers, but he's got a kid rock voice, just not powerful enough and zero look or personality.

kevin is the worst, but votefortheworst.com and all the idots vote for him. he's good for a few more weeks.

i just put a couple hundred on bucky not going home at +122. might add more if it jumps up. i like the bet.

dialidol.com has him ahead of lisa and elliot in the phone polls. that sites a pretty good indicator.

Elliot will be around for quite awhile i think..the dude could hang a note..i actually like little Lisa..I would do anything to see Kevin pack it in tonight :142smilie

soul, normally we agree, but you missing the boat on this one.

doesn't matter that elliot is good. yeah he's better than most of the remaining contestants, but you have to look at it from a handicapping standpoint. the guy just doesn't have a fan base that votes. his demographic of voters is terrible.

yes he can sing and is almost as good as the top 3 or 4, but nobody is voting for him.

i like lisa too, but again she's not getting votes.

as for kevin he's never gonna win, so i don't mind him sticking around, because its one less contestant i have to worry about.

exactly....Lisa's problem is, although she is good, she is losing votes to Mandisa, but more importantly the other young black girl vote, Paris....

Bucky was up to +128 last time I checked...would love to see it hit +130....still think there is value in Lisa going home at more than 2 to 1 odds

got a little nervous when lisa was sent back, and wish i had put money on kevin to go home (i think it was +330)....alas, can't be greedy, just happy we cashed.....sick thought that i think i can cap american idol better than any sport :142smilie

Curious question;

I don't normally watch American Idol, in fact I have not seen it since they got rid of all the rejects, just wondering if the guy that sang some Van Morrison in his tryout is still in or if it is all the regular pop singers??? He had some grey hairs for a young guy, kind of chubby, anyone know?
