wvu lost to lsu same way wvu was up 3 and lsu hits a bank from 36 feet out on wing to send to ot and lsu won wvu played with every big team they had this year they had another great year and have some size and more shooters coming in, coach b has not got to recruite his guys he has a full class coming nesy year and has some size and bulk and they can shoot they will be around for long time same as football, might have a off season here and there but they beat some damn good teams on their own home court and could of won both texas games, first one last shot they got mugged on a no call , say what you want wvu is a big time hoops program and they only had a few off years gails last 2 before that they were in ncaa and went to sweet 16 7 or 8 years ago and since 1970 they were in ncaa 6 out of every 10 year at least same as fb people act like they are new to sports, just had some off years at end of gails coaching and hell nehlean in his 20 years went to 16 bowl games and a college hall of fame coach well did not get there by losing. texas won and will match up better against lsu then they do wvu. watch fl they could be your sleeper

congrats to WV, love that team to death ... all the naysayers saying this and that about them is pretty amusing ... bottom line they play scrappy, beaten teams with more highly recruited athletes all year, and are as classy and close-knit team as Ive seen in ages ... they got up 3 in closing stretch and I was praying, didnt get to see it but followed with ticker ... too bad it didnt go OT, you never know how that mightve gone ...

i am honestly sitting here laughing at your post about never giving wvu credit in football. the ENTIRE YEAR i said west virginia didnt get half as much credit as they deserve. they were incredibly underrated. that team is physical is all hell and will be the real deal for years to come as long as rodriguez is there.

apparently you also missed the post i made when i said that wvu would have no problem with their draw out of the first weekend because they were better than anybody in that little 'bracket'. even if they had to play iowa, they would have beaten the hawkeyes by 6 or 8 points imo

I just must read the post when your dumping on them since i don't read many post and i never said the mac sucks i make more money in the mac every year in fb and hoops along with the other small teams from out west and big west in hoops then any other confrences, i play most all small schools in both sports. left out big sky

My hat is off to the Mountaineers of West Virginia. They could've easily quit after getting manhandled in the first half, but they fought back and made a game of it.
