Ask any other COMPETITOR if they would
want to play with Reddick or Morrison and
I gurantee their answer would be YES!!!!!
I mean ask other athletes if you would want
to play with them...LOL...not handicappers LOL...

arent you a coach?

what would you do or say to your team/leader if all your players were on the verge of tears in that situation....with time on the clock.....and you still have a chance to win?????

i hate both duke and the zags, but you guys are being a little harsh. he was just absolutely stunned. they way they lost was absolutely stunning and shocking.

you guys need to stop being all hard ass about this, because i guarantee 90% of college kids would have been in shock and crying in that situation - it was not a typical loss in a close game.

try and calm them down after that kind
of turnaround and no timeouts left and just
try and get a good look...which they did
but Morrison was trying to get free and have
the guy throwing the ball in to lead him a little
for at least a decent look...u guys are brutal....
I think the kid has a lot of heart and that shit
will pay off him someday....

if i'm a competitor......NO.....i dont want that type of guy on my team, especially if he's my team leader and best player.

Those were tears of joy, because he knew that he could finally spend some time with his soulmate Reddick for the rest of the semester. Like Coach K always says: "It's not all about basketball, it's the relationships you form along the way."

You know all those "all americans" were just young Frosh and sophs unlike the Duke teams in the past with some seniors........

bombs, you need to check in more often. ive always appreciate your lucid mind and cogent posts -- seriously.

i will say that i do have to agree with the guys saying that morrison had to be tougher when time was still on the clock. that i could agree with. but not about the post-game breakdown. he's not the first and certainly won't be the last. webber had his own meltdown 10 years ago and was crying and dropping f-bombs on camera.

no it wasnt like that game.

that game was back and forth the entire time. each team was absorbed in the game and the possibility of losing must have been real in their minds and certainly would not have been a shock. on the other hand, gonzaga had it in the absolute bag and blew it. that would deflate anyone.

but i know - you are TOUGH and a COMPETITOR so no way it would have affected you.

I could'nt agree more.........it was a game he probably pretty much thought was over........all they had to do was take care of the ball and get fouled........

He was running toward half court dude and
was hoping he could the get the ball there and
take a dribble and then have a decent look....
He wouldnt have been 75 feet away after
he caught the ball...but oh well....they lost...

exactly

cry, drop f-bobms, punch a wall, scream......AFTER the game, AFTER you lose

dont be a blubbering baby on the verge of tears with 2 seconds left while you STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN

that......is the sign of a loser, NOT A WINNER.....a guy more scared that they blew the lead and might lose instead of figuring out a way to win the game.

Whatever dude....you clueless!!! Go sellout like
most athletes do when they play a game and see
how you would feel after the turn of events in
that game.....He gathered himself enough to
try and do something at the end...but with no
timeouts and only 1.9 seconds left...wasnt easy...
