happens all the time...these coaches all seem to believe letting them shoot is better...it is the one thing to me that there is zero doubt the fans are right and the coaches wrong, and it isnt even close
I am so sick of these moron coaches............your team busts their butts the whole game and you cant make one decent %%%%% call and just foul down by 3....with 5 seconds left.........just so stupid it is unreal........

gave up two "3's" and an old school "3" point play in the last 50 seconds.....sick!!! I'm so tired of UConn.....lucky bastards got a gift here tonight!! I guess ESPN is awfully happy, they can continue on with their "USC like" love affair with UConn.
the last time romar had his guys in that kind of spot, they fouled on a 3pointer against stanford. im not saying i agree/disagree with either school of thought.

the one that really killed was the foul by jensen on the williams layup.....took it off of the 4 and put it on the 3 (given wash. makes 2 ft's which is exactly the way it played out).....gonna foul....better make damn sure that ball doesn't get anywhere near the rim

Game was lost when Jensen fouled, IMO. How stupid was that when your up by 4. They had called a TO just before that and you know the coach had to tell them not to foul. What a bone head mistake, cost his team the victory. Of course, it didn't help when Roy's shot was goaltended and not called or when he drove in the final minute or so and nothing was called again.
The Hall of Fame coach got what he wanted at half time when he put the screws to the ref. Give me a break 48 FT's in a college game. Please...
1 final note, no ref worth putting on the stripes is going to give two guys Technical fouls when all they are doing is yapping at each other. Just get between them and seperate them. That was absolutely ridiculious.
