anyone else surprised that pinnacle's first number on this game was uconn (-7.5)? seems very, very low. anyone get the feeling that uconn is going to beat the ever living shit out of gmu on sunday? there's gotta be something to be said for regression to the mean. uconn has played horribly for three straight. gmu has played near-perfect basketball. last time a midmajor dog was in this spot, kent was beaten pretty soundly by indiana (with a line of 6 or 6.5 if i recall correctly) though the hoosiers were blazing from 3pt range.

ended up selling a half point and taking uconn (-8) (+107) at pinnacle. we'll see where the line goes. value play more than anything. could always buy it back with some gmu if the line goes up. but (-8) at a little better than an even money return was tough to pass up.
im storming - i agree with that point as well. thought florida could have even been favored, though their own subpar performance tonight probably nixed that idea.

I think Uconn is good enough to turn it on when they need to. Until they lose, no one can say these guys cant turn it on when they need to. People talk about Uconn not caring and not being motivated, well i cant argue. But i can say they are very fun to watch as they probably have 6 nba players on their team
