Florida's youth is my only concern. They have too much depth for Mason and too much of an inside presence. UF actually wants to win. Conn didn't seem to care. Lean to UF, but I just may play the ml considering how this tourney has gone.

Florida has looked impressive, but Florida doesn't have anymore inside presence than UConn. I would lean towards Florida right now... However, I will be rooting for George Mason.

funny thing about Uconn's "prescence" it vanished in tourney ... i mean jamal williams toyed with them at 6'4 and GM bigs abused them giving up all sorts of inches ... what the heck happened coach C?

I like FL to cover, but GM has my undying respect

Exactly. We have to be careful to give too much weight to a win over UConn right now. They showed no heart for whatever the reason may be. If this UConn team started the Big East season again, they'd finish sixth.

6th in the Big East - I don't think so...

i don't know about mason's depth, but they seem to be very fundamentaly sound. they go inside often. noah played very good today against smaller guys. no disrespect either team intended here. i think mason gives them a good game, but fla does look hungry and uconn didn't.

DD:

The teams that would beat UConn on a neutral court the way they are playing are:

Nova
WVU
Pitt
Georgetown and
Syracuse.

I don't know what happened to UConn (maybe an SI article in June where the kids revolted against Calhoun for whatever reason, lol) but UConn has been playing like they don't give a damn about winning since February.

All this speculation does not have much worth...'cuz the winner of UCLA/LSU will beat either of these teams.
