I have no doubt that if I had mason Uconn would have come out in the 2nd half and gone on a 15-0 run. For all of you on FLA it's a lock I have NOVA  l

Dude, I know exactly what your saying. Sometimes I feel like I can do no wrong, but more often I get in little streaks where it doesn't matter what I pick, the opposite is going to happen.

I knew GMason was good enough to hang around....but I thought UConn would take that huge scare they had Friday night and come to play. Figured the first half would go something like it did, and then they'd keep a 10-15 pt lead the whole 2nd half.

I'm like you. If I took GMason, it would have happened.

I also do wonder sometimes who here, if anyone, is making money. Im sure some are and I'm sure a lot aren't.

There is a guy here that I used to follow a lot. I lost more games following his picks than you can imagine. It was so frustrating b/c people stand in line to praise his picks and I almost never see him win.

Is he winning? Honestly, I have no idea. I don't even look at his picks anymore, b/c I don't want to follow but I'm scared to death to fade him b/c everyone here thinks he's so great.

Not trying to call anyone out. I'm not giving a name, and I have no ill-will. If you can figure out who I'm talking about, then ok.

Maybe I just didn't follow for the extreme long run, or maybe his system is different or whatever, but it was just so frustrating.

Anyway, I know what you mean. I've also gotten a lot better about my money management. Looking to take a few months off after tourney and come back for college football very refreshed.

TD Jesus-You learned the hard way with big you know who.The guy was posting his plays under the professional or service section of best bettor,he was down over 30000 and then his record disappears from the record one day.So much for it being a credible documentation service. The two big guys stopped documenting on Best Bettor after a few months when it first started because they were down 20000 and 30000 respectively.I usually make the most sure fire dough all year on this tournament with the methodology I use,but this year UConn and 'Nova going 0-4 combined the second weekend after 0-4 for the first weekend(for a sweet 0-8 ATS for the tourney) was a shocker.I don't think any team has ever advanced four games without covering the spread in any of them before, much less seeing it happen to two teams in the same tournament. It proved you can never say never.

Yeah, I know what your saying. Don't really want to take it any further but appreciate your reply.

I usually just come here to get info, sometimes will try to tail someone who is hot or knows what there talking about, and if nothing else, just to discuss stuff.

I try not to post too much about who I like unless I feel really strong about it. That usually means ACC football first. After that I feel a lot more comfortable with college football, and finally ACC basketball. I'm really close to UNC, NCSU, and Duke, so sometimes I can get a lot better feel for those teams as well.

A few years back, Bunting's first year, I had that team down to a science. He was left with a GREAT defense, but didn't know how to use it b/c he wouldn't play field position. This past year, I won about 8 NCSt. games in a row but overthought their bowl game and didn't know anything about the opponent's offense.

i doubt more than 5% of registered users here profit year in year out ... I used to do ok, then hit skids in my 30s and quit betting for years .. I have come back last 5 years and shown a modest profit for someone who bets very little coin, but I win all of my money on futures (will go 5-0 in nba this year), I lose most of it back betting games ... I bet 20xs more on futures and if I had a brain I would not touch games, but im The Scarecrow ;)

I typically win every year. However, I had a terrible baseball run a few years ago. Just got my head kicked in because I was way too overconfident in my baseball capping abilities. The past couple years, I haven't endured a losing season although this past NFL season was tough. Typically perform my best in college football and basketball with baseball being my 3rd best sport.
