Well, THIS one should be rather difficult for the administration to sweep under the rug...talk about having to face the music if it is true! A country that spawned most of the terrorists that bombed our country, working secretly to create a nuclear program. Not simple WMD's...a nuclear program. Considering all this administration has spouted, spent and continues to carry a torch against...what do you think our patriots will have to say about this one?!?

'Saudi secretly working with Pak experts'

*BERLIN, MARCH 29 : Saudi Arabia is working secretly on a nuclear programme, with help from Pakistani experts, the German magazine Cicero reports in its latest edition, citing western security sources.

It says that during the Haj pilgrimages to Mecca in 2003 through 2005, Pakistani scientists posed as pilgrims to come to Saudi Arabia in aircraft laid on by the oil-rich kingdom.

Between October 2004 and January 2005, some of them took the opportunity to "disappear" from their hotel rooms, sometimes for up to three weeks, it quoted German security expert Udo Ulfkotte as saying.

According to western security services, the magazine added, Saudi scientists have been working since the mid-1990s in Pakistan, a nuclear power since 1998 thanks to the work of the now-disgraced Pakistani scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan.

Cicero, which will appear on newsstands tomorrow, also quoted a US military analyst, John Pike, as saying that Saudi bar codes can be found on half of Pakistan's nuclear weapons "because it is Saudi Arabia which ultimately co-financed the Pakistani atomic nuclear programme".

The magazine also said satellite images prove that Saudi Arabia has set up in al-Sulaiyil, South of Riyadh, a secret underground city and dozens of underground silos for missiles.

According to some western security services, long-range Ghauri-type missiles of Pakistani-origin are housed inside the silos.

you guys still don`t get it....iraq,iran,syria,saudi arabia....any of these shady middle eastern thug-ocracies gets a nuclear weapon, you CAN`T....

I REPEAT....CAN`T....stop the snowball from rolling downhill....

once ONE gets the bomb, pandora`s box opens up....

it`s bad enough that pakistan has the bomb...but,pakistan and india annihilating one another is nothing even close to what a nuclear war between these oil providing nations and israel would entail....

that`s why saddam wasn`t given the benefit of the doubt...that and his history of violence and mayhem....

you can`t play russian roulette with nuclear weapons and the middle east...

this isn`t north korea....this isn`t some nut bartering for food for their poor starving nation...

these are religious monsters trying to hasten the arrival of the 12th imam....

via the end of days....

and taking our economy with them...the world`s economy goes down the tubes with a middle eastern conflagration....

that`s why europe astounds me...

deaf,dumb and blind...

Uhhh, who in the hell are you talking to? I think everybody agrees with you, as best as I can tell.

If you are still trying to carve out an excuse for Iraq, that doesn't fly.

By NO account, none, not before or after the invasion was there or is there one iota of evidence that Saddam had the least bit of an active nuke program.

Everybody can argue about chemical and biological shit until they're blue in the face, but forget about the nuke thing.

Yes, I know, I know he WANTED it. Every country would LOVE to have the bomb. That's nice, but not exactly dangerous, as shown by the fact that he hadn't gotten anything going since Israel destroyed Osirak.

GW,

Amidst your frantic rant, I couldn't tell if you would advocate us stepping in to prevent Saudi Arabia from developing the bomb, no matter what it takes and no matter the cost.

Saudi Arabia has been and will continue to be the most dangerous country in the Middle East in regards to our safety. If you expect this administration that has clearly been bought and is owned by Saudi funding to do anything to Saudi Arabia then you need to step back and get a reality check.

Saudi would be pile of chit if there was no oil. They are now pushing to secure over 40% of fert business and 30% of cement.
They know there oil is estimated to last 25 years. So issues there will affect price even more 10 years from now. But nukes is not a good idea for them. Anymore then Iran. And we should not look away for a second.
