Staying at Hard Rock Hotel.

Any suggestions on what to do? Will be there with a group of 30-35 year old guys.

Haven't been to Orlando since World Cup (Ireland vs. Holland), and we didn't go out while there.

Is Spring Training still going on? I have a buddy in the Astros system that I would like to go watch.

Not sure if Houston is up there or not(why don't you just google it? lol), but the Hard Rock is more or less adjacent to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. If theme parks interests the group then you have those right there.

But in that same 'complex', there are a lot of of bars and restaurants..etc. There is a lot of late night(or any time of day) action right next to the Hard Rock.

Otherwise, Pleasure Island at Disney is a lot of fun. Basically a strip of bars where you pay a cover charge and then go into the area with any type of bar/nightclub that you would want. That's something kind of different, but you could definitely fill a long weekend(assuming that's the case) in the immediate area of where you're staying.

Unfortunately, I will be leaving first thing Sunday morning. I've always though you were a real class act, too. Hopefully, we'll get to meet something else in the future.

And, yes, I would keep the high school girls as far away from my friends as possible.

kosar- i tried googling and i went to Astros site. It wasn't clear as to what was going on. But thanks for the advice.

Dawgball-

I Bartend at a Club called Roxy just outside of downtown. This sat night we will have an open bar from open (10:00) until either 11:30 or Midnight. I'm not sure which time yet it seems to alternate. Some nights it's for everyone and other nights it's just for those on a list or with an invitation. You can get wells, calls and some premium liquors as well as bud, bud light and miller lite.

Now about the croud- it's typically a younger college aged type croud (we are 18 and up) with some upper 20 to lower mid 30 people mixed in. The majority is young. But if you don't mind oogling some of the younger stuff you could have a good time.

But if you don't like it, you could always use the free drinks to get a nice base in you before you head to something more your liking.

Let me know if you're interested in this and I will look more into how they are handling the open bar this week. You can do a search on Roxy Orlando if you'd like to see their website.

Dress code is no t-shirts, shorts, sneakers or hats.

If you're interested let me know in this thread or get my email from Jack.
