New Orleans Zephyrs (Washington Nationals AAA team)....on Airline Drive, really a good show...and real cheap to get into.

$1 beer on Thursdays, Concerts after the game on Sunday (or Saturday, not totally sure).

DEFINATELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

Keepem coming everyone ,

gumbo or crawfish?

Gumbo. Crawfish gotta be at a live boil, none of that restaurant stuff. It just ain't the same.

Now, if you're gonna go travel out of N'awlins and want the best gumbo, at least IMHO, go to Mike Anderson's in Gonzales, LA; a good 30 miles north on I-10. OF course, that just in case you're travelling up visiting the plantations or something like that. BEST DANG Gumbo I've ever had, period!
Of course, it's been a few years. It's located inside the Holiday Inn.

dicky v.....

last time i went to n.o. was in 1993......

we had brunch at a restaurant called the court of 2 sisters (may be called court of 3 sisters)....

it was by far the best brunch i have ever eaten....

the buffet covered 1/2 the yard..with all types of food....& there was a dixieland band playing continuously.....

we stayed there for about 4 hours & nobody bothered us to leave.....

hopefully the restaurant wasn't damaged by katrina....

if it's still there you must try it.....you won't be disappointed...

yeah, its the court of two sisters.
awesome food, right in the quarter.
Great atmosphere with live entertainment.
highly recommend!! Also, go eat at Tujac's (two-jacks). Great food there, located across from farmers market.
also, you HAVE to go to Mother's for lunch, and get the FERDI sandwich.
