I completely disagree........we have 4 Dell Laptops in the family, 3 Inspiron 6000 and a inspirion 8600 and not one complaint. I called customer service last week to renew my warranty and within 5 minutes is was a done deal.

yes it is not bad at all. i looked at hp's which i already have, sony and toshiba which i dislike, gateway and all others. this was by far the best deal around. only thing dell didnt have that i wanted was a dvd burner with laser script but can always add one later. i cannot complain.

speaking of sony. getting one of them with basically the same setup would have been around 2900. i'll take the dell!

Good job Gents- I find that going opposite of anything that kneifl says is always a profitable move.

I agree with the Boys. Those are some great prices. I own the Dell Inspiron 9300 and love it. I wouldn't know about the support side as I've never any problems with it.

I hear you......wife, son, daughter in law and myself. We all have Dell Laptops and between the four of us ZERO problems, pretty amazing.

When I bought mine it was called the Inspirion 6000 now they call it Inspiron E1505. I like this machine, although I did make a few upgrades. I went 1Gig of Ram, the faster 80 gig 7200 rpm hard drive and a better video card. I think it all depends what your doing with it.
