Yeah, I was in the left field bleachers.
My exact quote after four batters had come up in the top of the first: "This is so fuc*ing stupid. There hasn't been one out recorded and the game is over."
Needless to say I was shocked by the final outcome...
It was a fun time, all around... weather sucked, though. But hey, it was "buck night," so I enjoyed four hot dogs, three diet pepsis, and peanuts for $8... And I got a big comeback Royal win.
Also, this was probably missed by the casual fan, but I might have witnessed something that will NEVER happen again: the White Sox intentially walked John Buck after he hit two earlier doubles. I think the only person more shocked in the stadium at that point than me was John Buck.
