The Royals are 2-19 in the last 21 meetings in New York.
The Royals are 9-32 in the last 41 meetings.

But yet the line is only -262. Shouldn't it be higher?

what do the last 41 meetings have to do with this one? the yankees aren't in top form yet and -262 is pretty high considering they're not throwing their ace or # 2 guy. i think the line is pretty solid considering wang is on the hill.

The Royals are 17-53 in their last 70 road games.
The Royals are 20-46 in their last 66 games as an underdog.
The Yankees are 47-18 in their last 65 home games.
The Yankees are 22-9 in their last 31 day games.

I guess these trends don't mean anything either?

I think this line is very high for the beginning of season,the highest ive seen,but the yankees always get these lines. good luck today.only way i will play this is with a parlay with red sox i always seem to lose on runlines and these are both opening day games plus beckett for the sox,cheers joe

The line at my place is up to -340. I think I'm with you Joe and just parlay it with the sox.

I know yanks and sox fans would hate a parlay together but I am a texas rangers fan and no way am i going with them after as good as the angels looked last night. Lets get this one today guys, opening day games ,these stadiums should be loud especially boston. cheers joe

Why not play KC +1.5 (+150)? Think about it, the books are trying to force us to play New York -1.5 (-170) with this absurd money line. They know most people can't justify laying that much chalk. I smell a one run Yankees' victory!

Yankees 6
Royals 5
