I like the Yankees as much as any fan, but why even put a line out there like this. Do you guys really think people will bet on the Yanks?

This might be a good game to bet KC +1.5 since many people will most likely bet Yanks at -1.5 instead of laying the 400. Just a feeling they win by 1 tomorrow.

If I hadnt emptied most of my account after the basketball season, I would take a flier on the Royals here...

Bautista has good stuff (although I have never trusted him).... and it seems like one of those games where if he is on, they are going to have a decent chance. The Royals beat the Unit last year in Kaufmann when they were like +250...

KC has also been swinging the bats much better than last year, and dont really rely on left handers hitters, which makes them a decent matchup against the Unit....

GL...

I agree with Jayhawk. Some of these KC hitters have had success against Unit although in the 2 innings that Bautista pitched he gave up 8 earned runs to the Yankees.

But for the money I'll bite on KC +350

If I were playing it I'd take Yanks -1.5....KC has lost last 14 games at NY. I don't see RJ giving up more than 2-3 runs tomorrow and he should go deep in the game. I see a 6-2 type of game probably....this one will be much lower scoring as Bautista is coming off a decent game, but then again NY's offense is clicking BIG TIME right now, so this could easily be another high scoring game, but I just don't see the Unit giving up many runs tomorrow at all. GL!

It seems this is one of those games to ML the Royals with a low amount or leave it alone. The Yankees have all the high priced talent money can buy. The thing that money can't buy is cohesiveness. Even when they win they are not celebrating like other teams do. I know, I know they are professionals and not some church league softball team, but that gate swings both ways. When they are down, no one, and I mean no one, is in the dug-out urging them on. They are all stoic and old acting. Give me a young, exhuberent team in the trenches. Joe Tore` sits there the same if they are up 10 or down 10. Just my 2 cents worth.

On the course!
It was a nice win, but RJ aint no -400 pitcher anymore.

To me.........That's just a stupid wager. How many bets are available in baseball in a season? Year in, and year out, a hundred dollars a game on Randy Johnson, is a losing wager.

Congrats if you had it today, though!
