I'm sure some others out there would like this clarified also.

Is it for certain that the Clippers grab 5 if they beat the Grizzlies (both would end with the same record).

And how would Bulls, Bucks, Pacers, and Wizards finish should they have identical records.

Thanks in advance.

If Clippers beat Grizz, they would have same record. Since they both still have one game left, nothing can be certain just yet.

However this is the possible scenarios that could occur:

1. Clips beat Grizz, Grizz win last game, Clips win last game = Clips get 5th Seed

2. Clips beat Grizz, Grizz win last game, Clips lose last game = Clips get 6th seed

3. Clips beat Grizz, Grizz lose last game, Clips lose last game = Clips get 5th seed

3. Grizz beat Clips = Clips guaranteed 6th seed

------

Regarding the 3 teams in the East:

If they all tie, they would seed according to who had the best record against both teams.

For example: If Team A beat Team B 3 times and lost to them once. Then Team A beat Team C 2 times and lost to them 2 times.

Their record against the two other teams would be 5-3.

Whoever has the best record of Team A, Team B, Team C gets the higher seed.

Hope this helps.

KEEP IN MIND

KEEP IN MIND

That neither the Clips or Memphis even want the #5 seed....

The #6 seed will play #3 in the first round - Denver. The #6 seed WILL have the home court advantage in the 1st round (yes, over the 3 seed).

Neither team wants to be #5 and play #4 on the road in the first round (which would be 60 win Dallas)...

This game should be fun to watch, watching both teams try to LOSE the game...

So. Cal.
I didn't know that the #3 seed that won their division, would go on the road to a lower seed in the first round that didn't win theirs. that sucks
