planning a trip to cancun

I'll take Playa Del Carmen over Cancun, check that out.

When are you going? A lot of Cancun is still being rebuilt from the hurricane in October so you may be able to get a good deal. I stayed there the week before and had a decent time, but also enjoyed Playa much more. Unfortunately in the hurricane before the one in October, Playa got pummeled as well. Suggest taking a look at some Cancun/PDC message boards to get an update on conditions, many of them have locals as members or local business owners that will provide up to date information on what may or may not be open.

I agree was at both in February lot of damage in Cancun
