Trying to get back on track today -
my number one play is on the Pacers - after looking at the box score from the first game I like them more and more and more - and I think they are going to win this one tonight too. They might even sweep the series.... Like I said in my last post, the Pacers are a superior team - in field goal percentage, defense, rebounding and their bench. The only thing the Nets do better than the Pacers is taking care of the ball, which was evident in the first game when the Pacers had 19 turnovers resulting in 21 Nets points, vs. the Nets who had 5 turnovers resulting in only 4 Pacers points. I think the Pacers will handle the ball better tonight as surely Carlisle will emphasize that (being the great coach he is). The Nets did shoot horribly from beyond the 3 point arch, so I look for them to improve in that statistic, but can they make up the difference in the points they got off of turnovers in the first game? The Nets also set a new record for the lowest turnovers in a game in playoff history, so I look for them to have more turnovers this game, which will hopefully result in more points for the Pacers.
I said yesterday I wasn't going to play the ML in this game, but after thinking about it even more, I really liked it....
also forgot to add earlier that Vince Carter is banged up and is probable, but he said he is very sore, so his production is questionable
PACERS +7.5 loss
PACERS ML loss :bigun:
