No play on the Reds...sweep factor, Ortiz picthing against old team..not great reasons, but not playing it regardless

A's-list harden

1.3 to win 1 unit

The good news is Rich Harden (3-0, 3.58 ERA) will be starting Wednesday and the A's have not lost any of his four outings.

The right-hander has won three consecutive starts, lasting at least seven innings in each. He held the Angels to three runs and five hits in eight innings on Friday in a 5-3 victory.

Six days earlier, Harden beat Texas despite allowing four runs and walking five over seven innings of a 5-4 win. He did give up just three hits and struck out eight, improving to 5-2 in nine career starts against the Rangers.

Kameron Loe (0-2, 5.40) will start for Texas. He was tagged for six runs and seven hits in three innings of a 13-7 win over Tampa Bay on Thursday.

His best outing of the year came at Oakland on April 16, when he gave up one unearned run and five hits in seven innings before Texas rallied for a 5-3 win. Loe was 0-3 with an 8.10 ERA in four previous appearances against the A's.
