Hello fellow Madjackers!

I was wondering if you guys have any good groomsmen gift ideas. Lets see...I've gotten a monogrammed money clip, an awesome hammer with my initials which was kind of cool, a bucket of beer and shit like that, etc. I was going to try to figure something out and figured you all might have some ideas. To be honest I haven't figured out a price range...I won't cheap out but at the same time probably don't want to spend a fortune either. There are 7 in my wedding party.

I guess the hard part is to find something 7 people have in common. Not all of them are golfers...etc.

I thought about a cherry humidor that holds 12 cigars...I thought that would be a nice gift. I would put a few stogies in as well. The only thing that makes me hesitate is that none of us are regular cigar smokers, we will light them up on an occasion so not sure if it would be worth it.

2 that I got:

Handheld TV (the ones you can watch while tailgating)

Those walkie-talkies that have a 3-5 mile radius...can use it on road trips or in a park or something

others have been high-end liqours, really nice cufflinks and a martini shaker kit

I gave monogrammed cuff-links. Not something everyone needs all the time, but they are cool to whip out when you do have to where a tux. And, hey, they got to get at least one use out of them the day after I gave them out. ;)

I am from KY, and one of the weddings that I was in, the groom gave out customized Louisville Sluggers. That was a really cool idea because it had local flare.

I guess in NC, you could give out cigarettes????? mj07

wareagle's idea is really cool, too.

I gave my groomsmen A twelve pack of titleist golf balls with both our names and the wedding date imprinted on them...was actually reasonable.

The last wedding I was in as a groomsmen we got a leatherman tool made by Gerber, I use mine all the time...If they aren't the outdoorsy/fishing/hunting type that might not work, but I like the golfball idea.

The best groomsmean gift I got was a pair of Oakley sunglasses. Wear them every day. There's nothing better than a gift that is useful.

On the cufflinks front, I got my guys a set with their favorite sports team logo on it. I'm told they were a big hit.

I gave monagrammed memory boxes. I only had 5 guys so, I was able to buy nice ones.

I have been given:
monogrammed clock (lame)
money clip (with money) - impersonal but hard to complain about money

I like this idea.... That WOULD be a cool gift....

I've received flasks, money clips, lap dances...etc. but like you said, if all of them are not golfer or smokers, etc. then it makes it more difficult. Hell, everyone loves a nice pair of sunglasses...but then again, none of the groomsmen in one particular wedding complained about the lap dances either. LOL :mj07:

Do they have them at Costco

I thought that was coming!!! :D

How about Executive Memberships at Costco and THEY get the 2% yearly rebate check. They will remember that day not only once, but EVERY YEAR there after!!!!! (Rebate check comes in every year!)

I got each of my groomsman a bottle of the old school Jack Daniels Gold Medal Medallion winner aged bottles of whiskey. I think they were like 1908, 1905, 1907, 1913 or years back around that time. Good stuff, very unique.
I had them all just wrapped in paper gift bags and they had to chug a mug of beer, first one done got first pick on which bag to pick. kinda fun to see them opening it up and checking out who got what.

I think they were like 50$ a bottle.
and to return the favor, 1 of the guys set the bottle on his mantle, and when my first daughter was born he brought it over and we cracked it open together.

Don't know where to find them nowadays though. I spent 4 weeks searching small liquor stores in Maryland and Wisconsin to find all 5

Like the Flask idea, received a Mono Shot Glass. Bull-horns..upside down, became the stance to fill it. Still have it. Just depends on a money limit. A weekend in Vegas or Dinner coupons or gift card to home Depot.
