DETROIT -7
Risking $550 to win $500

Even the best team can sleepwalk through a game after it dominated the opposition in the previous two contests at home. The Pistons simply went through the motions in game three with a commanding 2-0 series lead. You will see a different Detroit team tonight! The Pistons are the best team in the NBA, and the Bucks don't matchup well with Detroit when Saunders' squad brings their A game. Pistons roll tonight!

Dallas seems like such an easy play. The public is all over Dallas, it seems like Dallas would have great motivation to win this game so they can sit back an rest and scout their competition. With that being said, why is the line so low? I think Dallas is the right play but I am going to play Memphis, b/c this line looks really fishy.

W&W,

When I look at this game on the surface it just seems like Dallas is the easy choice. They have won the first 3, including coming back late in game 3 to pick up the win. You would expect the Grizz to not play hard as they are probably deflated and being down 0-3, they must know they have next to no chance to win. Usually teams that are going for a sweep do indeed get that sweep, ie Both Sox teams in each of the last 2 W.S. The Pistons a few years back etc. The thing that makes me 2nd guess this play is the line. The line is way too low, and the public is all over Dallas yet the line is not going up. Vegas doesnt make a habit of losing and this game looks real fishy to me. Because of that, I am not pulling the trigger on Dallas. Good luck with your play.

Money line on Dallas went from -145 to -125 with most players on the Mavericks. I agree with you Fabulous, this looks like a classic trap and the right play is Memphis. I actually like the Grizzlies as they should put a max effort to avoid being swept a 3rd straight time in the playoffs.

The line opened as a 3.5 point adjustment from the line on Saturday's line. If you haven't noticed, Vegas hasn't adjusted lines too much no matter the outcome of the previous game, assuming it's at the same venue. (ex. SA wins by 40, next line is within 1 point of the first one)

Edludes,

Actually, your wife made the play today. Oh, when you get a chance, remind her that I forgot my watch on her dresser. Thanks!

Good call Wise,

I felt like it was too easy of a play on Dallas so I couldnt pull the trigger. I guess it was just too easy of a play. Nice score!
