Post-Season Record: [22-13]
Win Percentage: .629
Profit/Loss: +3,680

LAKERS +235
Risking $500 to win $1,175

When a team leads a seven game series 3-1 (Lakers), that team goes on to win the series 96% of the time! The Suns might win tomorrow, they certainly have momentum on their side now, but there's no way I can bet on a 4% chance.

Hate to put this but I had to:

Home for Game 7:
In the history of best-of-7 NBA playoff series from 1947 through 2005, home teams in Game 7's have a 75-17 (.815) record.

Most teams down 3-1 never sniff a game 7, less a game 7 at home. The Suns are no longer down 3-1 so that statistic is irrelevant.

To make that a relevant statistic, you would have to determine how many teams who were down 3-1 forced a game 7 and then lost it.

Even better would be to determine how many of the teams who were down 3-1 forced a game 7 which was at home and lost it.

Your numbers would be totally different.

Edludes, I started this thread yesterday when I was 22-11. Do I sense jealousy? So now you're monitoring my record-keeping? Considering your age (75?), I thought you were more mature than that. Like someone said the other day, do us all a big favor and get back inside your igloo!
